Hey Kyle- so good to hear you are having a great senior summer....and soon to be heading to Central. Dude-I love all of your photos. I posted some different ones than the ones you got in your awesome collection. Your 5x30 panel rocks! It is my favorite senior story of 2008. Thanks for making your session go so well. Keep in touch! Summertime Fun

What summer days are made of! Family fun in the sun. I love spending time with the Dersh's...always something to laugh about and lighten the mood.

We finally got our sunny weekend and dashed out to the lake and park. We had to share the dock with boats being launched so good thing nothing went in the water that didn't plan on it.

Look who just got Married!

Presenting Emmile and Alan- That a great looking couple. They celebrated their wedding day in perfect summer weather this past Saturday August, 23rd. Their wedding ceremony was beautiful. I was invited to photograph the ceremony and the formal photos of the families and the new couple. more photos to come as they select their favorites to share. So Sweet, Baby

What could be sweeter than a new little baby girl. These two peaceful photographs are of my favorites from this session. My friend Oli gave this new mom a gift certificate for her baby shower gift and I finally got to meet sweet little Olivia. What a joy. Isn't she lovely!

Kyle

You're looking at the captain of the varsity water polo team for ARHS and an all around wonderful guy. We had so much fun making the action photo for this collection. If Kyle isn't conditioning for water polo you'll find him life guarding at the pool. He's a busy guy with lots on the go. It's going to be a great year for the class of 2009. See you at the pool!

Cake Attack

Seneca's first taste of cake. Not too sure at first but then discovers the frosting. She'll never be the same. Yummm-birthday cake. Everyday should be a birthday celebration.

Katie

It's summer time! And summer time means fun.This is Katie having some fun on one of the best weather days of the year so far. Katie will be headed to Young Life camp again this year. She will be traveling in style with her iced white chocolate mocha and listening to We The Kings. She plans on hanging around with her buds: Maddy, Kristi, Dory, and Sharlin- and what a summer it is going to be. Katie was last seen wearing her favorite flats/vans and playing hid and go seek/tag. She's the first to admit she likes doing fun things that most 10 year old's enjoy. You can count on tons of fun and laughs when your with Katie. She lights up the world. Katie- Thanks for sharing a day at the beach with me...had so much fun. Katie - I changed the flower photo to another photo I just love, love , love of you. Hope you like it better! Maddie told me you didn't like the flower photo so much....See you soon.

Seriously Sweet

Oh my gosh, isn't she adorable. This is Seneca. She is so smart and cute. She doesn't miss a thing. This photo was taken during her first year birthday session. Oh yeah, there was cake. I'll be posting those messy photos a bit later along with her rock'n-walk'n photos.

Taylor

Give a big hello to Taylor! She is also my Rep for the class of 2009. If you know Taylor, ask her about her session. We has so much fun scouting urban locations for the perfect match for this fun photo session. Taylor is involved in ASB and is very organized and together. She is your go to person to get things done...but don't forget it takes many hands to do great work- together...

I just love the fresh look of each one of her photographs. Way to go Taylor-thanks for making your session so wonderful!

Kristi

Wow-poise and grace and so much talent...This is Kristi! She is also a Senior Representative from ARHS this year. Her are a few of her portraits designed in studio. I've always wanted to photograph toe shoes on point and was thrilled when Kristi said she wanted the same. Kristi is an amazing dancer. We captured both ballet and tap during this session and has so much fun. We used every prop we could find to see what we could come up with. Kristi's mother, Janis came up with some great ideas. Look for more photos of Kristi in the coming weeks to see what we creatively used from my friend Willow's studio.

It's Begun- 2009 Senior Photographs

I couldn't be happier to announce my new senior reps for the class of 2009.

This is Rebecca! She is friendly and is on the go. She is a swimmer, lifeguard and a good friend.

I love her beautiful eyes and natural beauty. If you know Rebecca, you'll agree that her photos really match who she is....confident, friendly, and natural. Oh, there's so much more to know about her as well. Look for more photos of Rebecca in the coming months.

Erika

This is Erika with her horse Fisher. She competes in Dressage (horse riding) with her beautiful horse. Anyone can see how comfortable she is with her horse. She really lights up. After high school Erika will be off to WSU. She is a big country music fan and likes Rascal Flatts. Erika you were so fun to work with. Aim high, you have such a bright future.

Natalie

Natalie -I enjoyed the time we spent together... you are so full of light which makes the NW an even better place to live. Best of luck at BYU. I'm confident you'll do well at anything you pursue. Take care and keep in touch!

Julia

This is beautiful Julia- what a fun time we had making these awesome photographs together. With a great combination of personality, beauty, style and great light, Julia's photos simply rock! These photos are a combination of Julia's favorites and her mom's (and mine too) favorites. You wouldn't know by looking at the golden photo but we had to dodge the horse that wanted to be part of the photo session so we had about 10 minutes in the barn while the horse ate some oats. Yeah, it was a matter of "watch your step" in the barn but Julia has a great sense of adventure!

For the Love of Dogs

My Chiropractor's three darling dogs are so adorable and lovable. They are the reason I am so well adjusted...well maybe it has a little more to do with Dr. Garton than his dogs. The truth is everyone in my family is a fan of Dr. Garton. These days to keep going back to the same doctor year after year you really appreciate the trust that is built up over time. Great, caring service and results keeps us coming back...and for the love of dogs, we keep smiling when we are at his office.

Nicole, Nikki, Nic, my beautiful daughter

Nicole you are so stink'n cute! I finally got to have a photo session with you and it was so fun. Being a senior in high school has it's perks. Getting great photos is one of them especially when mom and her girl friends are camera crazy- you think. What to do when you have so many cameras pointing in your direction.... smile, smirk, show us what you're made of... have some fun, go wild, fresh and bold!

Thanks Willow for making some great images for Nicole. We loved lunch today. What a treat- all the way around! You rock! There's more to come.
