Look who's sitting up so cute in her pearls Lil' miss holiday. Beautiful reflection of her perfect 6 month sweetness. OMG- Cara is so adorable and sweet as pumpkin pie, so smiley and full of personality. I just want to hold and squeeze her with delight. I love the way she flirted with her daddy- looking in the mirror and finding his face. Oh baby, you made my day!

Look who just turned two!
Full of energy and smiles is my cutest little friend, Seneca. She has a thing for bubbles {I do too} and her cougar - little stuffed guy. She is playing a game of peek-a-boo with mom and guess who she just saw. I'm glad I have a bit of a hill because I was running around trying to catch up with this quick one! I could just eat her up she is so cute.Wednesday, April 08, 2009
If you could hear me sing...

this photograph was taken in Kenya, Africa during my daughters trip there in 2007. How amazingly these siblings band together as they go about their day. If you could hear them sing you would know their joys are so great. I am encouraging my daughter to post her slideshow that includes the voices of Kenya.
beautiful children
This is truly one of the cutest girls on planet earth. She is playful and bright. Thanks for being our model, Ms. N the rock star
He couldn't be any more adorable. This is my friend Anna's son. He was a model for a group of eager photographers and he did his part so well. I love the window light and his relaxed placement. Thanks Anna for providing such great boys for us to photograph. Your boys are darling to watch -as they interact.Monday, February 23, 2009
Hands

I was so inspired by the great weather this weekend I just had to get out and photograph. I did not take these photographs this weekend nor do I have the magic powers to make tulips bloom in Feb. and I found these photographs from last year and thought they would be fun to post. Spring is just around the corner and I can't wait. I am already seeing the tiny buds growing on my trees and crocus blooming around my yard and neighborhood. I love the changes of the season and the anticipation of the new surroundings. This little girl is the daughter of a master gardener and loves plants as well. I love how she is using her hands and fingers to interact with the flowers so gingerly.

Keeps head level when pulled to sitting position

Sits by self with minimal support
Opens mouth for spoon
Reaches for and grabs objects
Rolls over and back
Drinks from a cup with help
Can hold bottle
Copies some facial expressions
Makes two-syllable sounds

Smiles and plays
it's so much fun to review these milestones and reminisce about my earlier days of my motherhood...brings back a wave of wonderful feelings and emotions.
These are wonderful times. So much to discover and share.

Seneca

"not sure I see anything in here"-- (but I'll keep trying , trying is fun)

Seneca is on the move- watch out- here she comes and she is fast. Little miss serious takes time out for a few smiles during her very busy day. She brought her two best furry friends (Couger and Elmo) along to her eighteen month photo session. Glad to have a moment to capture those big blue eyes that I love so much.

Little Sis

OK- let's get serious! Just look at those beautiful eyes. I love love love photographing little sis because she cooperative, playful and such a huge delight. I love her natural expression- so many times we try to force little ones to smile all the time when it really isn't how they are most of the time. Time will reveal more about who she will grow to be...in due time. oh, I could just squeeze her with joy. Can't wait to see you again!

How fun to be three! We always have so much fun when we get together. I have know this sweet girl since her mom was expecting and now look and see how big she is growing...and talk about a jumper. She really gets some air. I just love her fuchsia cowgirl boots- perfect for any occasion but especially for picture day with Carla. She's a super duper trooper and a great "big" sis.

Naughty or Nice?
It's time to turn it on... and start being nice. Santa is watching so you better be good! You'll certainly want your name on his "Good Kids" list this year for Christmas. These photos are from our recent photo session at Watson's Nursery in Puyallup. They have the best decorations and indoor gift shop you can imagine. Their customers were stopping by to help get these darling children to smile. As you can see it was a good joint effort. This was our third annual visit to Watson's for holiday photos. What a blast!

Halloween Night

Halloween Night
What a fright.
These great kids are my neighbors and a few of their friends that we get to see every year.
This year we set up a backdrop so that we could capture all of the fun and enjoy them for more than the time it takes to hand out candy.
Hot chocolate with whip and ghost peeks to top off the fun.
Thanks for visiting us and making it a fun night.
