Go Danny Go !

Danny- what do you think? Not bad for an early Saturday morning photo session. Thanks for hanging in there and waiting for a dry day. I think it was well worth the wait. I can't wait to show you the rest of your photographs. When I was a little girl seeing my shadow always made me run faster. Silly I know but that's the way it was for me and my shadow. Good luck at districts. Run your heart out!

Brittany

This is Brittany- just a sneak peak. Wait 'til you see the fun we had during her senior portrait session. Brittany is filled with adventure and ideas. I've been working lots to capture every last 2009 senior during our wet spring. This was one of those perfect days when you know the light is going to be ever so sweet right to the end. I love photographing at the end of the day... the light presents everything in a striking way. It was so fun to work with Brittany and her sweet little doggy. I met her mom Pam around 5 years ago when my daughter needed some physical therapy. Pam is always there with something nice to say and a happy welcome. I am honored that I was selected to photograph Brittany. What a pleasure!

Just for a moment

Just for a moment...take time be. I just finished reading my friend Kathy's blog and she inspired me to post this cute photo of this farm cat that came a visiting me during a recent session. This cat showed up uninvited to multiple locations and then while heading across the farm I spied the cat just being for a moment. Kathy talked about slowing down and enjoying the moment. Living life to the fullest, being present, feel the sun on your skin, embrace it ...this cat gave me the gift of being "fully in the moment". Meow-

Fundraiser at Suburban Sole in Enumclaw

Last weekend I went to a fund raiser with my friend Jolynn Voth (awesome lady, mom, hair stylist, gardener, artist and much much more) She set up a shopping night at Suburban Soul http://www.suburbansoul.net/ in Enumclaw- it was fantastic...good eats, wine, beautiful decor, amazing jean bar (never heard of one before last week)- it was a fun evening to meet new people, eat, shop and relax --as well as raise money for the breast cancer 3 day walk coming up this summer. If you haven't been to Suburban Soul yet you gotta check it out. This shop has much to offer such as home decor/art pieces to fashionable clothing to Italian made shoes. Make sure you allow enough time to browse around. The ladies will help you find something perfect for an up coming occasion like high school graduation (for moms) Thanks Jolynn for getting everyone together for a fun night.

Emily

Emily-- look at how beautiful you are. I just loved working with you--and Kelsey was great with the light reflector. What a great friend to come along and help out too. You have amazing
FASH-on and style. Most of all, I see a kind person with a big heart when I look at your portraits. It is so great to see you and your mom so close. You treat her well- with love and respect and seeing you two together just fills my cup. So glad I got a chance to know you.
Dream big!

Kelsey

Hi Kelsey- wow you really rocked it for your session location and the works. I am so impressed that you found this needle in a haystack location and that the owner was so friendly and accommodating to us. I love your smile and was smiling and laughing with you and your mom the whole session long. You energy is contagious! You are a beautiful person - inside and out. I can't wait to get your photographs in your hands.
