Jenna

Jenna- I love all of your senior photos- They are awesome! I love your beautiful green eyes-they just pop in all of your photos. Oh- and just for fun I changed one of the images into a fun blue tone so your eyes are now blue. The fall colors add a dramatic feel to your more serious look. It's nice to change it up and have some different looks even though you are a happy, fun and smile'n kinda gal. Yeah!

Enjoy

Little Hadley always, always is full of the greatest expressions and spontaneity. I giggle when I am with her. Oh, and she gives the best long, long, long hugs that you can carry around with you the rest of the week. They are that good and sweet! She is so contagious and special.

Kyle

Kyle is the busiest senior I know. He is a national paintball player and avid snowboarder which keeps him active all year long. My goal is to attend one of his matches and photograph him in action which would be so cool. So far I haven't been able to work it out but it is definitely on my list of fun things to do.
Kyle attends Bonney Lake High School and is an all around great person. He is very photogenic and had lots of great looks for his senior (portrait) story. How lucky were we to have Mt. Rainer showing, in all of it's glory, the day we held your photo session. I think you just have that sort of luck in your life...where ever you go, what ever you do.
Keep it going!

Naughty or Nice?

It's time to turn it on... and start being nice. Santa is watching so you better be good! You'll certainly want your name on his "Good Kids" list this year for Christmas.

These photos are from our recent photo session at Watson's Nursery in Puyallup. They have the best decorations and indoor gift shop you can imagine. Their customers were stopping by to help get these darling children to smile. As you can see it was a good joint effort. This was our third annual visit to Watson's for holiday photos. What a blast!

My Baby's Blues

My baby boy is growing up! We are already talking cars and he is only 14. He is a dedicated guitar player and oh how I love to hear him play and sing. We've been planning this photo opp for a few weeks but haven't been able to get there before dark.
So, just before dark, today, we went out to this beautiful field and had a blast making some great photos. When we finished we were inspired by the lite tunnel and hung around for a few more photogs before we were chilled to the bone. Great job Matthew- you made it super fun.

Artistic Ashely

Ashley and I are birthday buddies! We discovered that we share the same birthday. How fun is that. Ashley has been a friend of mine for a few years. Her mom and my husband work together and we have had the pleasure to share some holiday celebrations together over the past 5 years. Our families both moved to Washington from Portland when Weyerehaeuser bought Willamette Industies ( Portland, OR)
Ashley loves animals and is a gentle sole. You scratch my back- I'll rub your tummy. Gosh-Senior sessions are so much fun! She also has a gecko- it is so cool--I'll have to post a pic of him. Ashley...what kind is he? All I remember is dragon something. I could be wrong.

Ashley is so talented... she is an artist and can also sing beautifully.

what a great HAT *** you have such great style!

...or a photo that I can keep for always.
You guys are awesome trick or treater and made my night so fun.

Alicia

This senior really got that the session is as much about the experience as the pictures we create. Everytime I brought the camera up for a shot she would burst out laughing. She has a great natual smile that just lights up. Although you can tell that she won't get very far with her looks, she'll have to rely on her sense of humor. Joke- She is a natural beauty with a big heart. I loved cracking up with her and having a fun time. My favorite photos of her are in the field and with the pink flower. She is laughing some more....I bet she is laughing right this minute. Keep it up.

Halloween Night

Halloween Night
What a fright.
These great kids are my neighbors and a few of their friends that we get to see every year.
This year we set up a backdrop so that we could capture all of the fun and enjoy them for more than the time it takes to hand out candy.
Hot chocolate with whip and ghost peeks to top off the fun.
Thanks for visiting us and making it a fun night.
The magic of Halloween at it's best!

Alicia
You're photos are so fun and playful and show the great spirit you have. What a great sunset we shared at Alki Beach. We caught it in the nick of time. Your blue dress was so elegant and perfect for the beach. I know you will enjoy that photograph displayed in your home for years to come. Oh, and the Ben and Jerry's van-how cool was that. Another just in time arrival on our part to be able to have a colorful prop from your neighborhood. Hope you love all of your sweet and playful photos. You were fun to work with. Stay healthy and take care of yourself through soccer and tennis. Have a great senior year.

Rhianna

Rhianna is quick, smart and fun---we had a fun time in Tacoma photographing her senior pics. She has great expressions and can turn any moment into a fun one. One thing you can learn from Rhianna is to just be yourself...
I get a good feeling that you are confident and comfortable with who you are. You have a bright future.--sounds like a fortune cookie... your lucky numbers for this month are 2, 4,8 and 22. Best of luck to you.

We've been friends for a while now and Jackson you just keep getting smarter and bigger and funnier as the days roll on. You are so cool and wonderful
My buddy Jackson made this neat drawing of me! I have had the opportunity to photograph Jackson and his siblings several times. He is so fun, playful and so smart. I'd love to get some shots of him running through the fall leaves giggling and hav'n a blast. He has a cute little puppy that he loves dearly. I think I am going to ask Jackson for a trade: a drawing of his pup and a photograph of him and his pup. What are you going to be for Halloween- Jackson?

Easton's Art

Drawing by Easton
Isn't this beautiful work!
Easton is the such a kick!
He is an artist of life, full of smiles and fun ideas.
He gives me inspiration. I love the natural head tilt and simple background. It made my day when he presented me with his drawing and described the action happening in the scene. We got to spend time together during his big sis's senior portrait preview.
Thanks Easton-

Niki

I finally had the perfect opp to photograph my very own daughter Nicole, aka Niki, yesterday at my friends farm.
I was so excited the timing worked out great for Nicole's schedule too that I grabbed my camera and off we went only to find a very low battery...had to work fast. Got some fun photos and lots of ideas for another photo session. She is so fun to work with. She's brave enough to hang out around a horse she doesn't know. In fact she is the bravest person I know. She traveled to Kenya this summer to help build schools and teach children English. With lots of international travel under her belt and a taste of humanitarian effort she is tracking to return next year with an amazing goal of raising money to put a well down in a local villiage. She is in the process of making a slideshow from the photos she took in Kenya. I'm planning on adding it here on this blog so keep looking for it. She is a lucky girl. Not only is she beautiful, she is a great friend with a big big heart. I love her so much.
That's all for now. Make it a great day.
