Pick Me!

{Sneak Peek for Karli}
I had a super fun session this morning with Karli: First off I love her name, it's close to mine and I secretly always wanted to be called Karli. We had so much fun in the sun today. I think we all got sun tans! I can't wait to show you more. I think a jump in the lake would have been the thing to do if we had ended at the lake vs. starting. Love your photographs and I know you will too.
Paula thanks for helping out and being a big support. Everything went great-I loved starting my day out with you both.

Sarah

Caught in the act! She is so darn beautiful and funny Here is Sarah with new funny photographs. You can read her face- Yes the water is cold even in July. Sarah has a wonderful playful nature. She is a quiet force so don't be caught off guard. Sarah spends a lot of time swimming and working and at the Auburn pool- she loves the water and we plan to take more photographs in the fall at the sound. Have a fun summer Sarah, relax and kick up your heels. Enjoy...

Get your Groove On

ahhh, it's sweet Seneca- back for more smiles and fun. I had a chance to photograph my sweet little friend again this morning just before we looked at her session photographs. Seneca showed up how to "get your groove on" Isn't she so very cute. The good news is she is now wearing big girl pants- as she proudly reports! COngrAtulTions- you go girl.

Tanisha

Tanisha is independent, gorgeous, athletic and an all around wonderful person. Don't you just love her warm skin and bright hazel eyes. She was the very last grad of 2009 that I photographed this year. I am so glad I got a chance to know here. Her beautiful dress is like a fairy tale dress and fits her personality perfectly. Tanisha is full of pep and energy. Best of everything to you sweetie- you are going to go far... Keep in touch.

Buckley

beautiful scene taken by my husband Brad- coming back from hiking Mt. Peak
Buckley, WA -taken with canon power shot- pretty sweet!

Brooke

Brooke! Some people come into your life with a burst of energy- this was true for you. You are radiant and busting with energy. Brooke is crazy busy with the Tacoma Youth Symphony and her quartet -playing cello and lighting up the world. She is good friends with Megan {see earlier posts} and Tessa {senior rep} Brooke and Megan just graduated from Stadium High School and Brooke, Tessa and Kaitlin are all three in the Tacoma Youth Symphony. We had the chance to have two photo session- one in a beautiful garden and the other at the sound. These two photographs are from the sound. I love her orange dress her mom Lila made for Brooke's upcoming performance. Talent definitely runs in the family. Brooke- I need a list of the times your playing this summer so I can come hang out and hear you do your stuff. I know it will be a treat. You make me smile and smile.

Olivia

Every moment hold a gift. Olivia is crazy about her mom- they are playing and smiling together.
The flower tickles her nose and she delights. So much bound up in this expression, this moment.
Happy Birthday Olivia. You are a jewel full of life and all that is beautiful and good.

Welcome Cara Ann

Say hello to sweet baby Cara Ann- She was born May 9th at 11:34 weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and was 19 3/4" long. What an amazing blessing. Mom and dad have fallen hard as we do with a precious new life. What a team they make with smooth hand offs and bunches of hugs and kisses. Life is so amazing good. Congratulations to Allison and Rick, she is amazing! I placed a stork carrier photograph of Cara on my website under itsy bitsy ones. She is actually hanging from the tree in a little knitted carrier. Darling and fun! Thanks to Rick for helping to scoop Cara up several times to get her positioned just right. You gotta take a look! www.amomentintimebycarla.com

Twin Brothers- twice the joy!

I was invited to photograph twin boys {age 2 weeks} with a few other photographers. Here is one of my favorite portraits of the sweet little brothers. Tami had the idea to snuggle the babies together in the wonderful green blanket she just got. I added an antique finish to the photograph for a nostalgic feeling. This one was worth the wait...as we waited quit a while for the boys to fall asleep. I know mom is going love the photographs we created during our time together. Mom was so sweet with her little boys , keeping very busy with feeding and changing and feeding and changing. Tanner and Braden were the best little guys. They filled my heart with their little coos and sighs. I was in aha watching them individually and together. I think blogger is displaying their skin tones a bit weak.

Look who just turned two!

Full of energy and smiles is my cutest little friend, Seneca. She has a thing for bubbles {I do too} and her cougar - little stuffed guy. She is playing a game of peek-a-boo with mom and guess who she just saw. I'm glad I have a bit of a hill because I was running around trying to catch up with this quick one! I could just eat her up she is so cute.

sonora lavender

Four of my favorite lavender photographs from my trip to California to visit my family. We were invited to tour and visit an olive farm and olive field. The lavender is just about to pop. You can hear the bees at work. The afternoon was just beautiful. We relaxed and talked about the beautiful country side and all the possibilities. This was a wonderful treat! Joyce- How did I do with the view?
